Create
a new document 100x600 pixels. Draw an
object, then make it into a symbol.
Step II
Position the object on the top of the stage using
the align tool.
Step III
Create
new keyframe in frame 10 and position the object
at the bottom of the stage using the align tool.
Step IV
Create
a new keyframe in frame 20 and position the object
to the far right of the stage using the align
tool.
Step V
Right click on
any frame between frame 1 and 10 and
select "Create Motion Tween".Then in the "Properties" panel and
change the "Ease" setting to
-100% (ease in)
Step VI
Right click on
any frame between frame 10 and 20 and
select "Create Motion Tween".Then in the "Properties" panel and
change the "Ease" setting to
100%
(ease out)
Note:The slight pause at the end
of each complete oscillation. This due to the
looping effect. There are two successive frames
where the object is in the same position creating
a pause. (Click here to see how to fix this)
Easing Curve
In this bouncing
animation there is no deformation of the ball
and there is no energy loss. The acceleration
is uniform and considered to be an
approximation of acceleration due to gravity
(9.82m/s/s).
Gravity accelerates the
object toward the ground before the bounce AND
accelerates the object toward the ground after
the bounce creating the effect of deceleration
AWAY from the ground.
