Rotation Tweening Practice worksheet II  
The following exercises are designed to help reinforce the concept of keyframes and the way in which are used to create motion tweens. Recreate the motion tweens by following the instruction below. Then save the .fla file and the .swf file to your portfolio folder.

Exercise I
Rotation Tween. (Method 1)
Download this .fla
Step I In frame one draw a square, set the color fill to blue. Then position it in the center of the stage.
 
   
Step II Go to frame 24 and insert a blank keyframe.
   
Step III Copy the contents of frame1 into frame 24.
   
Step IV Highlight keyframe 24 then drag to select all the frames to and including keyframe 1. Right click on the selected area the choose "Create Motion Tween".
 
   
Step V In the properties panel go to the "Rotate" drop down menu and select CW (clockwise). Press Ctrl + Enter to preview the animation.
 
Exercise II Rotation Tween with an image (Method 2)
Download this .fla
Step I Download this Image on to your desktop.
   
Step II In the main menu go to File > Import > Import to stage. Select the image from the desktop then press "open".
 
   
Step III Position the image in the center of the stage.
   
Step IV Go to frame 24 and insert a blank keyframe. Then copy the contents of frame1 into frame 24.
 
   
Step V Right click between the two frames then choose "Create Motion Tween".
 
   
Step VI In the properties panel go to the "Rotate" drop down menu and select CW (clockwise). Press Ctrl + Enter to preview the animation.
 
   
Step VII Select frame 24 then press F5 six times to add six identical frames to the end of the animation.
Note: In each case Flash automatically converts the drawn object or the image into a graphic symbol in order to create the tween.
