Using The Video UI Component

How to use the video user interface component:

• In the components panel:
  • Expand the "FLV Playback-Player 8" category.
  • Select the "flvplayback" component.
  • Drag the component on stage.
• Then align the UI component to the stage using the align panel.
• Select the UI player.
• Then in the properties panel:
• Select the parameters tab.
  • Click on the magnifying glass in the "Skin" row:
    • Then in the "Select Skin" window select the desired video player skin e.g."MojaveOverNoVol.swf".
    • Press the "OK" button.
  • Click on the magnifying glass in the "Content" row.
    • Then in the "Browse for FLV file" window:
      • Click on the Folder next to the text field.
      • Select the flv file you want to play.
      • Press the "Open" button.
      • Then press the "OK" button.
• In the main menu go to Control > Test Movie.
