Fading An Image Into The Background Color

How to fade an image into the background color:

Select the image you want to blend.
In the properties panel click on the "Canvas" color box.
Using the eye dropper tool sample a color from the image.
Then in the main menu go to Commands > Creative > Fade Image.
In the "Fade Image" window:
- Select the horizontal left to right fade.
- Press the "OK" button.
