FALSE() function returns the logical value
FALSE to a cell.

is FALSE().
The FALSE()
function displays the word FALSE and
assigns a logical value of FALSE making
it a useful analysis tool.
How
to use the FALSE() function:
Select a cell.
Type " =FALSE() "
Then
press the "Enter" or
"Tab" key.
The word
"FLASE" can be entered into a
cell and it will also be interpreted as
a logical value. The FALSE() function is
mainly used when preparing worksheets to
be compatible with other spreadsheet or
database programs.
Note: You
can tell that Excel has correctly recognized
the word "FALSE" as a logical
value because it will by default fromat
the text so that it is centered in a
cell.
