The TODAY() Function Knowledgebase  

 

The TODAY function returns the current date.

  • The syntax for the function is TODAY() . There is no argument required for a value to be returned.

How to use the TODAY() function:

  • Type " =TODAY() "
  • Then press the "Enter" or "Tab" key.

 


Note: The TODAY function refreshes each time the worksheet recalcuates displaying the current date in the cell it is written.
