The NOW() Function Knowledgebase  

 

The NOW function returns the current date and time.

  • The syntax for the function is NOW() .There is no argument required for a value to be returned.

How to use the NOW() function:

  • Type " =NOW() "
  • Then press the "Enter" or "Tab" key.

 


Note: The NOW function refreshes each time the worksheet recalcuates displaying the current date and time in the cell it is written.
