The Scroll Bars Knowledgebase

The scroll bars are .... There are two scroll bars the vertical and the horizontal.

Each scroll bar can be controlled using five different methods, scrolling information across the page.

Click or hold down the arrow buttons- Good for small incremented scrolling
Click on the grey area between the scroll bar and the arrows-Good for shifting the workbook in large steps
Drag the scroll bar -Excellent for for moving quickly to a point in the document recognized by the display.
Using the scroll wheel -Used when the cursor is not in the scroll bar region. Goof for
Click on the grey area between the arrows and the scroll bar and use the arrow keys-Useful for keyboard only control.

Using the horizontal scroll bar:

Hover over the horizontal scroll bar with the cursor
Hold down the left mouse button
Drag the cursor in the direction you want to move the spreadsheet in the window

Using the vertical scroll bar:

Hover over the vertical scroll bar with the cursor
Hold down the left mouse button
Drag the cursor in the direction you want to move the spreadsheet in the window
