The Menu Bar

Displays the titles of drop down menus and the maximize, minimize and close buttons for the workbook window.

All commands can be accessed from the menus and sub menus of the menu bar. Hover over a word in the title bar and select a item from the drop down menu by highlighting it then double clicking on the item.

To view additional options from the drop down menu click on the chevrons to reveal hidden options.

Options that are infrequently used by the user are hidden from view in order to simplify the menus. In this way excel only shows the most frequently or recently used options.
