instead just rounds up to nearest digit regardless of the value...

 

How to use the roundup() function:
  • Click on the cell where you want the result to appear.
  • Type " =ROUNDUP( ".
  • Enter the data value.
  • Type a comma "," and enter the number of decimal places the data is to be rounded to.
  • Type " ) " then press the "Enter" key
