The Round Down Function Knowledgebase  

 

The Round Down function rounds down a set of data values to a predetermined accuracy. A data value or cell coordinate are entered into the function as arguments and a whole number representing the number of decimal placed the argument is th ebe rounded the function then returns the rounded value to the cell.

 

How to use the rounddown() function:
  • Click on the cell where you want the result to appear.
  • Type " =ROUNDDOWN( ".
  • Enter the data value.
  • Type a comma "," and enter the number of decimal places the data is to be rounded to.
  • Type " ) " then press the "Enter" key
