The
data is automatically correlated and axis
automatically scaled. The label for the series
is simple series 1" the excel default name for a
series. |
The
series is correctly names however because the x
column is not labeled (in the table) the chart
wizard correlated the X and Y data points.

The
"data in the x column is ONLY used to calculate
the max and min and a scale for the x axis.
The X and the Y data
points are not correlated. So the graph
looks like a line chart. ( the letter x confuses
the correlation algorithm in the chart wizard). |
