Optimizing Images Using Fireworks

How to optimize images using fireworks:

Select the image you want to edit.
In the properties panel:
- Click on the "Optimize in Fireworks" icon.
In the dialogue window press the "Use This File" button to edit the original jpg image.
Then in the "Optimize images" window:
- Set the image "quality" to "80%".
- Press the "Update" button to export the image.

Note: In this example the image file size is reduce form 34.98K to 10.38K with only small reduction in image quality. A reduction of image quality from 100 to 80% as seen here is barely noticeable with an image of this size however the time taken for the image to load in the browser will be five times faster.
