What Are Templates?
Templates also known as dynamic web templates
(dwt) provide a way for large number of pages to be
edited and updated in a controlled and consistent way.
Why Use Templates?
When a template is changed
all pages attached to it can be updated automatically
by dreamweaver. This makes the process of mnaging
large sites far more efficint alowing the design
of thosands of pages to be controled by a hand full
of template pages.
What Are Editable Regions?
Editable regions are exactly
what they sound like, they are regions of the template
can be edited or changes by the user. Using editable
regions in a template is a way for web designers to
make sure certain regns of a web page are not change
when contentent is added or removed.
